Cookies and site storage
Public website
The public enquiry forms hold your entries in the current page until you submit them. They do not save those entries in cookies or browser storage. Submitting a form sends its contents to EXE so our team can deal with your enquiry.
Consistent enquiry forms
We are comparing two versions of our individual-device enquiry form. The first-party session cookie exe_price_experiment_v1 stores only A or B so your form stays consistent across pages, tabs and reloads during your browser session. It has no visitor identifier, price or contact information, and no expiry beyond that session. If this cookie is unavailable, the current form still works. One version asks for an optional hoped-for price; that figure is guidance for EXE, not an approved offer.
Optional analytics and your choices
We use CookieYes to remember your cookie preferences. You can choose whether to enable Analytics and Advertisement in the cookie settings and change your choices later. Necessary cookies support these choices and essential website functions.
If you enable Analytics, we load Google Analytics to understand use of our website and whether an enquiry has been received successfully. Analytics uses cookies, including _ga and _ga_KY3TQGXME5, and receives technical information such as the page visited, browser and device information, a pseudonymous browser identifier and engagement information.
This implementation removes unrelated query parameters and fragments from the page address and does not send the referring page address. Known EXE advertising campaign names may be included. Only when Advertisement is also enabled may the page address include a valid Google advertising click identifier. Advertising personalisation remains disabled.
For a successful enquiry, we send its enquiry and device categories, confirmation that EXE received it and an opaque receipt code to help avoid repeat reporting. This event uses a page address without advertising click identifiers. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, enquiry reference, serial number or other free-text form answers to Google Analytics. Submitting an enquiry to EXE works whether or not you enable Analytics.
Google Analytics is not loaded before you enable Analytics. Disabling Analytics stops further analytics collection on the current page and removes this property's known analytics cookies. If you enable Analytics again, it resumes on your next page visit or reload. Read Google's Privacy Policy.
We save the tracking choices reported by your browser with your enquiry. If Analytics was allowed when the enquiry was sent and remains allowed, this tab may keep the opaque receipt code and an attempt time in session storage for up to eight hours, limited to the latest 100 attempts. It contains no form answers or advertising click identifiers and is used to reduce repeat reporting. Restricted storage, expiry or another tab can limit that protection.
If you enable both Analytics and Advertisement, this tab can also retain minimal Google advertising context in session storage for a 30-minute attribution window. It can include validated click identifiers, known campaign and ad-group labels, a campaign ID, the original page path and capture time. This helps keep campaign context with an enquiry after you move between pages on this website. It does not include form answers, search terms, complete page addresses or referrer addresses. A new tagged visit replaces the saved context; an external or direct return clears it, and disabling either category removes it. Expired context is no longer used. Restricted storage or missing navigation information can leave attribution unavailable without preventing your enquiry.
With Analytics consent, the form comparison reports the A/B version, broad device category, form interactions and whether the optional price was provided, left blank or marked not sure. We never send the entered amount to Google Analytics or advertising analytics. Analytics consent is separate from the session cookie that keeps the form consistent.
Security and administration
EXE's administration system uses a session cookie for signed-in staff. The server applies request limits to protect forms and services from abuse. Hosting and security providers may also process technical information when delivering the website.
Google reviews and external links
When Google reviews are available, EXE's server requests them from Google Maps Platform. Reviewer images may load from Google. Following Google review, profile or map links takes you to Google's services and their privacy arrangements.
Read Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Maps terms.
